A 17-year-old boy who breached the security of the Norman Manley International Airport by running on to the tarmac, appeared before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court Wednesday. The teen who was accompanied by his father was remanded until January 30. He is charged with two counts of breach of Airports Regulation Act and failure to leave airport. The Crown told the court that the teen continues to breach security regulations at the airport by running on to the tarmac. After having a long stare at his son, the defendant's father told the court that he believes his son does such things purposefully. He shared with the court another incident whereby his son deliberately disobeyed his instructions so that he could get his own way. He added that his son has been on medication prescribed by doctors at the Bellevue Hospital. |
