Who will steal the show at GT's Christmas Extravaganza?

All is set for the 14th staging of GT's Christmas Extravaganza, and as usual the promoter of the annual Christmas night stage show GT Taylor, has left no stones unturned in preparation for his prestigious event.

"Everything is firmly in place for another successful staging of Christmas Extravaganza, this is a team effort. The entire team has worked together to produce another great event for our loyal patrons. Each year we try our best to uphold and possibly surpass the standards we set at the previous one in order to give our supporters a top-class event. I can safely say that all aspects of the production are on point - lighting, stage, sound, security, bathroom facilities etc., so we should have another successful staging this year," said GT.

dancehall greats

According to GT, with the line-up that he has selected under the 'Still Rules' theme, spearheaded by dancehall icon Bounty Killer along with other dancehall greats like Sizzla, Beenie Man, Ninja Man, Aidonia, I-Octane and Khago, will give patrons good value for their money.

"We have a winning line-up again this year and I know for a fact that all the artistes, from the headliners to opening acts, are all coming to deliver their very best for the fans. So the patrons will once again get good value for their money at GT's Christmas Extravaganza."

As expected, the anticipation levels for Christmas Extravaganza are high and many patrons are wondering who will emerge as the top act at this year's show. In a recent interview, Bounty Killer said he plans to deliver nothing but greatness for the fans at the event. Members of his ANG camp (Alliance Next Generation) have also pledged to give their best.

Fans are also in for an interesting time as perennial dancehall champion Ninja Man, who is known for his trademark Don Gorgon talk and stage antics, can be counted on to deliver a show-stealing performance.

Sizzla in recent times has emerged as a prolific stage performer and is expected to give his fans a real treat.

Self-proclaimed King of the Dancehall, Beenie Man, like Bounty Killer, has been one of the year-to-year show stoppers on Christmas Extravaganza and the fans will be looking forward to another wonderful performance from him this year.

Aidonia has certainly made his mark in the dancehall arena as one of the most poignant lyricists in the game. He has also proven in recent outings that his stage craft is rapidly developing.

I-Octane has been one of the most consistent hit makers and performers in recent times. He's known for his high-energy performances. It is expected that he will not fail to please his fans in St Elizabeth on Christmas night.

Khago is also expected to raise the bar, as this affable dancehall star on the rise is a serious stage performer and he has the hits to win over any crowd.

Not to be left out of the runnings are acts like Romain Virgo, Macka Diamond, Lady G and veterans like King Yellow and George Nooks.

The line-up for Christmas Extravaganza will also feature the likes of KipRich, Pamputae, Lutan Fya, Chuck Fenda, Anthony Cruz, Timmi Burrell, D'Angel, Tianna, Stacious, Mikeylous, Villa Dutch, Inoah, Hitman Wally, Brimstone and Alva.

Christmas Extravaganza will be held tomorrow night, at Independence Park in Black River, St Elizabeth. Gates open 6 p.m., showtime 9 p.m. Admission is $1,800 and $3,000 VIP.
