Crystal Harrison, Staff Reporter

There are only three days left to claim the $171.6 million (US$1.92 million) Super Lotto jackpot won by a Jamaican in October and Supreme Ventures Limited (SLV) says the lucky winner is yet to come forward.

THE WEEKEND STAR understands that after New Year's Eve (December 31), the super lotto jackpot will no longer be available to the winner.

SVL is urging persons to check their Super Lotto tickets for the winning numbers which are 15, 17, 24, 30, 31 and Super Ball 03.

If the winner doesn't come forward, the enormous sum will be shared between the Chase Fund to support good causes across Jamaica and the Super Lotto promotions pool.

before claim time expires

In a release sent to THE WEEKEND STAR, the vice-president of Group Corporate Communications at SVL, Sonia Davidson, said that super lotto players are to search carefully before the time to claim expires.

"Check your bags, cars, pockets, wallets and or purses, because that lucky ticket could be hiding just about anywhere. The winning ticket was bought in Montego Bay, St James, on October 2," Davidson said in the release.

THE WEEKEND STAR understands that to date, Super Lotto players in Jamaica have won more than $680 million.

In a recent article published in THE WEEKEND STAR on December 5, several persons interviewed in downtown Kingston gave their views on the issue.
