Man linked to corporal's murder in custody

One man has been taken into custody in connection with the murder of police corporal Ranford Durrant.

The police say the suspect was arrested on December 17, the same day the police corporal was shot and killed in the Windsor community in St Ann.

The suspect is to be questioned and a search is still on for two other men.

They are Anthony Brown, otherwise called 'Bowie', 'Throat,' 'Puss' and 'Taliban', and another man known only as 'Kevin'.

Anthony Brown had escaped from the police lock-up recently.

Corporal Durrant was attacked in the Windsor community while he was visiting the mother of his child.
