P Diddy, Supreme Promotions team up for sound clash

International rap superstar and CEO of Bad Boy Records, Sean 'P Diddy' Combs, will be teaming with promotional giants Supreme Promotions to host a free event dubbed 'Bad Boys Clash', a sound clash and party at the Lime Light Entertainment complex today.

CEO of Supreme Promotions, Isaiah Laing, who is also the hosts for the annual dancehall showdown and 'Greatest one night show on earth', Sting, broke the news to THE WEEKEND STAR last night.

He said, "I am expecting that the whole Half-Way Tree gonna be in a frenzy tomorrow ... . We (Supreme Promotions) were contacted yesterday by P Diddy and his team and we sorted stuff out and the permits and everything is already in place."

THE WEEKEND STAR was told that entertainers Tommy Lee Sparta and dancehall clash king Kiprich will be performing, sharing the stage with the rap icon who is now in the island.

The event which kicks off at 8 p.m., will feature its main event, a sound clash, between four of the biggest names in sound system business namely, Foota Hype, Black Kat, Tony Matterhorn and Bass Odessy.

THE WEEKEND STAR was told that the winner of the sound clash will walk away with a $US20,000 (J$1.86 million) cash prize, all expense paid by P Diddy.
