Crystal Harrison, Staff Reporter

Time has apparently run out on the lucky Super Lotto winner of Ja$171.6 million (US$1.92 million), but Supreme Ventures Limited (SVL) says another Jamaican has hit the jackpot.

New Year's Eve (December 31), was the final day to claim the October jackpot and THE WEEKEND STAR understands that the lucky winner didn't show up.

In a release last week to THE WEEKEND STAR, the vice-president of group corporate communications at SVL, Sonia Davidson, urged Super Lotto players to search carefully before the time to claim expires.

In the event that the winner didn't show up SVL had indicated that the enormous sum would be shared between the CHASE Fund, to support good causes across Jamaica, and the Super Lotto promotions pool.

The October winning numbers 15, 17, 24, 30, 31 and Super Ball 03 were purchased in Montego Bay, St James.

Meanwhile, over the weekend, SVL announced that another Jamaican hit the Super Lotto jackpot with winning numbers 01, 03, 05, 07, 16 and Super Ball 10.

This Super Lotto player won $186,600,000 or the (US$2,028,000).

SVL says the lucky winner will be required to claim his or her prize at the Supreme Ventures corporate office within 90 days.

Super Lotto is played in the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Barbados, St Kitts & Nevis, Anguilla, Antigua, St Maarten and the US Virgin Islands.

THE WEEKEND STAR understands that Jamaica has three Super Lotto winners to date.
