The Official and Original Water Party held on New Year's Day at the New Mas Camp, (National Stadium) was a great climax for New Year's celebrations.

Hosted by Island Mas, the event has developed a reputation for pulling thousands of patrons, and this staging was no different, except that the turnout was later than usual.

Water trucks flanked the venue while a beautiful home-made water fountain that was strategically placed on the dance floor, acted as a shower for patrons who simply could not get enough of the water.

The females were out in their numbers sporting skimpy outfits including tiny shorts, beach dresses and swimsuits while the males mostly sported merino, t-shirts and shorts.

ZJ Wah Wa, Sanjay, Chris Diamond and Flabba Dabba kept the vibe consistent through the night playing mostly erotic dancing songs like Bruck It Dung, Stop Sign, Tan Tuddy, Wine among others.

However, the selections did not matter to the patrons. As long as the water was pumping and liquor mixes flowed from the bars, they were okay.

Patrons, however, had to present IDs and sport an 'I Am Legal' wristband in order to access alcoholic beverages.

The event ended at midnight, with recording artistes Aidonia and Deablo making guest appearance's performing several popular songs.
