Men allegedly caught stealing $290,000 worth of oranges |

Rasbert Turner, Star Writer Two men who were held in an orange field in St Catherine on Wednesday have been charged by the police. Jason Baugh, 37, of a Corporate Area address and Junior Walters of Deeside, St Catherine, have been charged with praedial larceny and conspiracy to commit praedial larceny. Police reports are that security guards saw both men about 5:00 a.m., in an orange orchard owned by Trade Winds Farm. The Bog Walk police were summoned by security guards. Upon the arrival of the police, Baugh and Walters were caught loading oranges on a truck. Checks revealed that there were 146 bags of oranges on the truck with an estimated value of $290,000. They are scheduled to appear in court next week.
