Teachers' discount at Swagg Boutique

Teachers are set to benefit from a teachers' discount which has been implemented at the House of Swagg Boutique in Portmore. According to owner of the boutique Deborah Burke, the aim is to make Portmore a special place for teachers.

"It is said that we have the greatest number of tertiary graduates in Jamaica. It stands to reason that education is important and this my way to big up teachers," Burke told THE PORTMORE STAR as she announced the discount.

The store, which is located on the upper floor of City Plaza in Congrieve Park, has been turning eyes since it opened six months ago.

Brands like Calvin Klein, Tahari, BCBG, Jessica Simpson and a host of others, along with bags, jewellery and accessories, are all available at the store at very competitive prices.

"I really like the layout of the store and I hope that I will be able to do some shopping so that I can benefit from the plan discount for us," Marsha Nembhard, a teacher, told THE PORTMORE STAR.

Meanwhile, Burke's assistant, Stephaney Clarke, said the store's reputation has been growing and she is pleased to be working there.
