- Anthony Minott photos A mixed set of patrons, some from uptown, downtown, Portmore and overseas, witnessed the Bailey's Irish Cream Ken's Wildflower New Year's Eve party at Ken's Wildflower, located along Port Henderson Road, St Catherine. Many patrons expressed delight at ringing in the new year at Ken's Wildflower Sports Club, atop the roof of Lester 'Father Ken' Crooks' establishment. "This party is the bomb. The selectors dem ago hard; long time I don't enjoy myself so much," one patron told The Star, as she partied with friends. the crowd got wild When the session reached to hard-core dancehall and Vybz Kartel, Mavado, Konshens and Bounty Killer and I-Octane vocals were heard from the sound systems, the crowd got wild, and the vibes escalated in the venue. The music was presented by disc jocks from Wildfire Sound, with guest selectors Crazy Criss and Seņor Daley. Patrons received specials on Bailey's Irish Cream all night, and the club was packed, leaving little dancing space. This is the type of support that this club has experienced for a number of years now for their New Year's Eve parties. Crooks, the proprietor of Ken's Wildlflower, said that he was pleased to partner with Bailey's to put on the event and added that patrons are always eager to attend parties at his establishment.
