SELECTOR CHOPPED IN FACE |

SHELDON WILLIAMS, STAFF REPORTER Disc jock and music producer Bobby D of Higher Heights Sounds and Heights Records was reportedly chopped in the face as he attempted to part a fight between two recording artistes. THE STAR understands that the incident took place at the victim's home studio in Red Hills, St Andrew, last Thursday. Our newsroom understands that the two artistes were arguing over bragging rights, as they tried to determine which of them was the 'badda' artiste when the incident occurred. Bobby D reportedly intervened and tried to diffuse the fracas when he was allegedly chopped in the face with a machete by one of the artistes who fled and is still on the run. scar to face Bobby D, who is now recovering after receiving medical treatment, told THE STAR, "Just a scar to the face. It wasn't excessive." Heights Records is known for musical projects like How Mi Look Rhythm which features young artistes like Tina Nunnez, Ryval and Jah Rain. Bobby D recently recorded a track with Annalys called Arm Check, which is slated to be released later this month. The Red Hills police were unable to confirm that a report had been made up to press time last night.
