Man pleads guilty to simply larceny |

|
Rayon Powell pleaded guilty to simply larceny in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Monday, after he was accused of stealing items valuing $240,000.
Powell, 20, confessed to stealing 17 cases of Gold Seal margarine, a container filled with cooking oil and several cases of milk and coffee from a truck belonging to Facey Commodity Company Limited to which he was employed for 11 months. The complainant told the court that the items were stolen over a three-month period. A fingerprint order was ordered and Powell is to return to court for sentencing on January 31. His bail was extended. |
