Chrisinti's 'Heart Of A Champion' ... making steady progress

Since its mid-September release last year, Chrisinti's Heart Of A Champion single has been making steady progress with its latest climb coming at number one on the Foundation Radio/New York Top 30 Music Chart.

The Fitzroy Francis-produced track has been sitting on the chart's pole position for the past two weeks and is expected to remain for a third.

The song has been a main item on the Essence of Life rhythm, which also features other internationally successful singles such as Zanadu's What's Happening Now, Michelle 'Songbird' Gordon's Essence Of Life and Helfa Nyah's Shepherd.

The song is also number 15 on the South Florida Top 25 Reggae Chart and is being distributed worldwide by VP Records' digital distribution arm, VPAL. Heart Of A Champion also went number one on several charts in England.

The Essence of Life rhythm was produced by Mightyful13 Records, which is owned by Francis, who is a Jamaican residing in the United States.

humbling experience

The easy-going Chrisinti, born Paul Hudson, said he's very humbled by the single's ongoing success, but concedes that the work must continue nonetheless. "The chart successes show that I have done very good work and that is very much a humbling experience to be recognised for the work you do, whatever it may be," he said

Francis echoed similar sentiments. He has also taken a more philosophical outlook on the matter.

Said Francis; "When you do good music people will recognise your work. The Essence of Life rhythm was arranged with the vision that people will find a lot of value in it."
