Whenever we come to the end of a year, we tend to reflect on the previous 12 months to see our progress. Unfortunately, our assessment is usually limited to professional, academic and family goals. How much time do you really spend grading your sex life? How sexy was your year? Let me give you some common mistakes that both men and women make. Take a look and see if you are guilty of any of them. Common Mistakes Men Make Skipping the foreplay (or acting like it is an unwelcome chore) - Contrary to popular belief, the sex does not start after the foreplay; it is a part of the entire experience. Do not look at foreplay as something just for the women; it's a great way to increase the level of intimacy between you and your partner. Being Long-Distance Stulla Obsessed I know what the song says, but if you talk to most women, they will tell you that short and sweet is better than long and drawn out. So don't be so focused on lasting long, more on creating long- lasting effects. Neglecting his Sexy Women are expected to maintain their appearance all the time; shave, tweeze, trim, manicure, pedicure, the whole works. In the mean time men have crusty feet, dirty finger nails, and refuse to do something about the hairs growing out of his nose and ears; not to mention the growing gut that seems to get bigger as he ages and becomes more successful. Women like sexy men too! Common Mistakes Women Make Expecting her partner to know how to please her - It is a fact that men don't know everything about the female body, so stop expecting him to know all your erogenous zones and how to rock your world. You have a part to play in your pleasure, so get involved. Becoming a Prude Before you got the man, you wore sexy lingerie, had sex with him everywhere, grabbed him and kissed him, and even enjoyed some morning loving from time-to-time. Now you are settled, you have the long cotton nightie, the big parachute underwear, with the rollers in your hair and he cannot dare wake you up in the morning for sex. Trust me, not a change for the better. Not expressing herself and her desires He's sticking his tongue in your ear and you don't like it, what do you do? Do you bear the sensation, or do you say to him, you prefer it if he did something else, like nibble on your ear lobe instead? If you don't express yourself, you will not get what you want. In order to improve, it is important to examine where you are. This goes for your sexy as well. As it's a new year, let's resolve to improve our lives overall and especially to make it more sexy and fun. Have a SEXY New Year! Dear Shelly, I'm a 25-year-old woman and I consider myself straight. I have always been curious about kissing a girl; my best friend has really nice juicy-looking lips. Do you think I should just do it? Danielle, Montego Bay Dear Danielle, It seems like since that Katy Perry song came out, many girls are noticing their friends' lips. I wouldn't just grab your friend and kiss her but I would advise you to see how she feels about kissing girls first. You don't want to do anything to jeopardise your friendship, especially if she is not interested. If you really want to kiss a girl, I'm sure you can find one. Stay Sexy!
