A St Catherine taxi operator who was on bail for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old has found himself being charged again for having sex with the same complainant.

The Star was informed that the man was taken into custody last week.

It's reported that on the day in question, the police received information that the man was at an address with the girl.

When the police arrived, the accused was allegedly seen in bed molesting the child.

The STAR learnt that the crime was discovered after it was noticed that the man was still transporting the child.

It is reported that another man took home the child and in a jealous rage the accused allegedly physically assaulted the girl.

As a part of the bail condition, the accused was to keep away from the complainant, and not communicate with her in anyway.

He is scheduled to appear in court next week to answer to a charge of having sex with a minor under the age of 16.
