I love him but he has a wife |
|||||
Dear Pastor, I am an 18-year-old woman in a relationship for seven months. I love my partner and he loves me just the same. My problem is that he has his wife and children. I really love this man. Anything I want I get and he treats me like a queen. He comes to visit me four times for the week. One night he came to see me and we went for a drink. On my way back home, I got confused and asked him to pull over so we could talk. I asked him if he loves me and he said yes. I asked him if he loves his wife and he said he wasn't sure because he was not happy with her from the beginning and he wants a divorce now. He has been with her for eight years. He said that the reason why he is still with her is because of the children and he does not want them to think that he is a bad person. Pastor, do you think that if this man means what he says? I really love him and we are happy around each other. He makes me feel comfortable. Do you think that I should leave him so he can stay with his wife and children? I am confused. S.S., Manchester Dear S.S., You suspect that this man is not telling the truth about his wife. You know that men lie on their wives all the time when they want to have flings with other women. Sometimes men think that all women are so naive and gullible. They fail to realise that they could only lie for a while, but the women would eventually find out the truth. This man will only use you and when he is tired of you he will dump you. So I suggest that you should dump him before he dumps you. Pastor |
