Jamaican men charged for New Year's Day stabbing

Two Jamaican men have been charged in connection with a fatal stabbing in London on New Year's Day in 2008.

Onique Nembhard and Jamar Graham, who were extradited from Jamaica, are accused of killing Henry Bolombi in Edmonton, north London, a BBC report said.

Bolombi, 17, was attacked by a group of youths on his way home from seeing in the new year in central London.

Nembhard and Graham, both 24, and of no fixed address, appeared at the London Central Criminal Court, more popularly known as Old Bailey, charged with murder.

Both men have also been charged with violent disorder.

Nembhard is next due to appear in court on April 19, while Graham was due to attend a hearing at Old Bailey today.
