One of the male lovers who was involved in a fight with his ex-boyfriend in a phone store in New Kingston, St Andrew, last week is now under suicide watch. THE STAR has been reliably informed that the accused is being carefully watched by the police after he expressed the desire to take his own life. Our news team has also been informed by the police that charges have been withdrawn against the victim who was attacked by his ex-boyfriend after he saw him in the company of another man. The matter is expected to be mentioned in The Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court today. THE STAR had earlier reported that the two men got into a fight after one entered the store and saw the other with another man. It was reported that a glass case valued at $200,000 was destroyed during the fracas. The men were charged with malicious destruction of property, and one was further charged with unlawful wounding.
