Traffic personnel in the St Catherine Traffic Department have deepened their probe into a traffic accident that resulted in the death of a woman yesterday.

Dead is Sandy Ennis, 34-year-old, unemployed, of a Spanish Town address in St Catherine.

Police reports are that about 5:35 a.m., Ennis was a passenger in the Toyota Corolla heading towards Spanish Town.

Upon reaching the Rajmaville Complex along Brunswick Avenue, the driver reportedly lost control and drifted into the right lane. This resulted in a collision with a Toyota Hiace bus heading in the opposite direction.

The impact left the car extensively damaged, while the bus had damage to the left side.

The occupants of the car were taken to the Spanish Town Hospital where Ennis subsequently succumbed to her injuries.
