St Catherine farmer dies

Relatives of a St Catherine farmer say they are saddened by his passing, but are thankful he died doing what he does best. He has been identified as Leebert Johnson, 60-year-old farmer of Bartons district, St Catherine.

"We are saddened by his passing, but God knows why him dead like dat as all him life him do farming," a resident told The Star.

Reports are that on January 19 about 11:30 a.m., Johnson left his home for his farm.

He did not return and concerned relatives started to search for him.

They were shocked to see his body in one of his pig pens.

The scene was processed by the Old Harbour police.
