You are not in his future plans |

Dear Pastor, I am 19 years old and I have been in a relationship with my partner for five months. The other day we were in bed together talking and I looked at him and asked him if I were to get pregnant now what would he do. He told me that he would run away, and it hurts me to know that he wouldn't stick by me throughout that period. After he told me that, I started thinking. Several days later, I decided to tell him how he made me feel when he told me that which made me feel hurt and uncertain of the relationship. Later on that week, I told him I wanted to get a piercing, but he said I shouldn't because it wouldn't make me look like a wife material and that I should get it done later in life. In my opinion, he was trying to say that we are not going to be together for that long. Please, pastor, help me. I am confused, lost and hurt. S.D. Dear S.D., You are quiet correct. This man does not see you as the woman who is going to be his wife. This is not a long-term relationship. He is going to enjoy your body as long as possible, but you are not in his future plans. He does not consider you good enough. If you were to say that to him, he would deny it. But, that is the truth. Now that you know how he feels, you should end the relationship with him and move on.
