Cops hunt criminals targeting females |

Rasbert Turner, Portmore Star Writer Police investigators in the St Catherine South Police Division are searching for criminals who are targeting females. In one of the latest reported cases, the Portmore police said about 4 a.m. on Thursday, a female was walking to work in Cedar Grove in the municipality when she was pounced upon by a man with a gun who held it to her back while trying to force her to go back home. head wound The police said the woman managed to take him elsewhere and made an alarm. Before running away, the police said, the man used the gun to hit the woman on her head, wounding her. THE PORTMORE STAR learnt that robberies were on the increase in Portmore with women being the majority of the victims.
