A woman accused of introducing contraband into a prison pleaded not guilty to the incident in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Wednesday. She is Sharmaine Henry of a Corporate Area address, who will return to court for trial on March 4. The accused told the court that she had been given the money by her son, an inmate of the Horizon Adult Remand Centre. It is at this point that he then took the woman to a superintendent where she was charged. She is expected to be back in court in early March. |
