Detectives from the St Catherine Major Investigation Taskforce (MIT) are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the body of a man, which was found in an open lot in Westchester, Portmore in the parish yesterday morning.

The body is believed to be in its late 20s, about 173 centimetres (5 feet 8 inches) long, slim build and of dark complexion. It was clad in a striped polo shirt, blue jeans pants and a pair of white sneakers.

Anyone who is able to identify the body or may have information which can assist the police, is asked to contact the St Catherine MIT at 758-5048, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
