Busy Signal to face more charges

The police say more charges are to be laid against dancehall artiste Busy Signal in relation to obtaining three passports with a false name.

When the dancehall entertainer appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday, his bail was extended.

The deejay who recently returned from the United States after serving six months in prison was recently charged with obtaining passports in a false name.

three passports

He is to return to court on February 14.

Allegations are that the artiste unlawfully obtained three Jamaican passports in the name Reanno Gordon, which he used in his travels abroad as an entertainer.

Busy returned to Jamaica late last year, after serving six months in a US prison for absconding bail.

The artiste was extradited to the US, where he had pleaded guilty to a February 2002 incident in which he was charged with two counts related to cocaine trafficking.
