Boys' Town and Harbour View will meet in next Wednesday's final of the 2012-2013 KSAFA Jamaica Yellow Pages Jackie Bell KO competition.

The teams completed contrasting semi-final wins on Sunday and Monday. Boys' Town clipped Waterhouse 4-3 on penalties on Sunday at the Constant Spring Sports Complex after the teams had played to a 0-0 scoreline at the end of extra time.

On Monday at the Waterhouse Mini Stadium, Harbour View eased past Tivoli Gardens 2-0, with the goals coming from Richard Edwards and Donovan Edwards.

The competition is being sponsored by Jamaica Yellow Pages for a second year and district sales manager at the company, Desmond Anderson, says he is pleased with what he has seen so far.

"We at Jamaica Yellow Pages are very pleased with what has transpired thus far. The way it has been organised by KSAFA must be commended, and for that alone we are satisfied," Anderson said.

evaluate and look

Their sponsorship will last until the 2013-2014 season, but Anderson says the company might just be back for more.

"Well, I can't say just yet if we will continue for sure, but we are pleased and we will have to evaluate and look at the numbers, but I wouldn't see why not," he concluded.

Over in the KSAFA Jamaica National Super League competition, Shortwood got by hosts Greenwich Town 2-1, Police National beat Santos 1-0, Allman/Woodford edged Barbican 2-1, Rockfort clipped Olympic Gardens 2-1 while University of the West Indies ended their two-game losing streak by defeating Mountain View by the same margin. Rae Town and August Town played to a 1-1 scoreline.

In the KSAFA Hi-Lyte Major League, hat-tricks from Real Mona's Jordan Moses and Constant Spring's Julian Nugent led their teams to 5-2 and 4-0 wins over Duhaney Park and New Kingston, respectively.
