One home-made handgun was seized on Bay Road in Little London, Westmoreland, yesterday. A teenager was held in connection with the find.

Reports received from the Little London police are that about 4:30 p.m., the teenager was allegedly involved in a conflict with other youngsters. A gun was reportedly brought into play and the police were summoned.

On their arrival, the teen was accosted and a home-made handgun along with one round was seized.

The teen's identity is being withheld pending further investigations.
