International dancehall artiste Black Mattic said he is very optimistic about the future successes of his latest studio effort, which is a 16-track album set to release on May 7, 2013.

At least a thousand projected pre-orders have already been made by some of Black Mattic's most adoring fans. Persons can pick up their pre-order copies of the album as of today. The offer is organised by iTunes.

The album, titled Black Label, will be the multicultural deejay's sophomore album after the relatively successful Hot Grabba album, which he released back in 2010.

The album, which will feature the international hit Superstar and lead single Billionaire Club, will be released on iTunes, Amazon and all the other major digital media outlets worldwide.

Massive marketing plans

Massive marketing plans are being set in place to promote the album after its release. Two of such plans are a music video for Billionaire Club, which will be directed by MTV Network's Mike Leonard, who also directed the music video for Superstar.

The other plan is to run an extensive advertising campaign with CMJ (College Music Journal) to promote the album to 250 colleges throughout America and National FM radio, which consists of nearly 400 stations.

A mega album release party is set to take place in New York City in May and the 25-year-old revealed that he is very excited about the future prospects of the eagerly awaited album.

"I am very excited, the fans are very excited. I have been getting unlimited feedbacks and requests on my Facebook page for the album. Fans will have a chance to get their copy of Black Label on iTunes this Friday, prior to its release date on May 7," he said.

Majority of the Black Label's album recordings were done inside Black Mattic's Official Hits Music Group studio. Yo Dash, the genius behind Superstar, serves as the album's executive producer with Black Mattic and Therapy's Hits Collision as co-producers.

The internationally renowned and multi-platinum Tony Gillis, from the Cutting Room Studio, conducted the mastering and engineering sessions. The album also features emerging female artistes Chris Fos and Diandra Farquharson, Therapy and Canadian R&B singer Donny Anderson, all of whom collaborated with Black Mattic on various singles.

Black Label, classified as a pop-reggae and dancehall project, also features songs such as Wine And Bubble, I Got Hooked and Never Give Up (Reunion Remix).
