Up to late last night, police said the suspect in the killing of a 16-year-old Manchester schoolgirl on Wednesday is still at large. The body of Martha Byrowe, a grade-10 student of Cross Keys High School, was found with multiple stab wounds to the head at a house in Top Albion district about 1p.m. Investigators are searching for a 40-year-old man who was reportedly involved in a relationship with the teen. The police believe the man, who goes by the names 'Bruce' and 'Sebastian', can help in their investigation. He usually has a low haircut and speaks with a lisp. Anyone knowing his whereabouts is being asked to contact the Mandeville CIB at 922-4487, Crime Stop at 311 or 811, police 119 emergency number, or the nearest police station. |
