New venture for Liv Up Records

Liv Up Records is not new to producing songs, but now they are venturing into party promotion.

Today, the label will be hosting its first event, '80s & '90s Post Valentine', that will be held on the Caribbean Queen, 3B Port Royal Street, Kingston. Music will be provided by Collin Hines, Mix Master Marvin and Swatch International.

"Liv Up Records, we are keeping events. This is just the first event of many. This is just fi get wi foot wet. We just a go fi some uptown people as well 'cause we already gave the downtown crowd," said Clinton 'Crumbs' Marsh, one of the producers at the West Kingston-based record label.

He also noted that they decided to host a post-Valentine event because they believe that most persons prefer to spend Valentine's Day with their partners instead of attending parties.
