Two men who were caught naked inside a parked vehicle near the Forum Beach in Portmore two years ago pleaded guilty to gross indecency.

Both men appeared recently before High Court Judge Justice Evan Brown in the St Catherine Circuit Court.

Having accepted their pleas, Justice Brown fined the men $250,000 each or six months imprisonment each.

The men's appearance arose from a January 2011 incident when a police party on patrol near the beach saw a parked vehicle. It was checked by the police and on close observation it was revealed that the two accused were inside.

After they were questioned about their activities they were charged with gross indecency.
