Man killed by motor truck identified

A man was killed on Wednesday night after he was allegedly mowed down by a motor truck along Orange Street in downtown, Kingston.

The 29-year-old man has been identified as Alan-Rae Fine of a Hanover Street address in Spanish Town, St Catherine.

It is understood that about 7:45 p.m., Fine was walking along Orange Street when he was struck by the truck. He later died in hospital from the injuries he sustained.

Since the incident, numerous persons who knew the victim have expressed grief via the social networking site, Facebook.

Narz Star-Bwoy expressed, "one of the best youths me know star, a former co-worker sad that you're gone so soon bossy". While rlando Kool Walker wrote, "Former co-worker, this young man is a brilliant yute, but he just chooses to do something that can help people. I hope the driver gets the full length of the law! R.I.P Alan-Rae Fine. I'm really sorry about this, is just life still ;( it really sad!"
