There was marked improvement from contestants in Castle Blue at this week's staging of Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall, held at D'Entrance, Constant Spring Road, last Saturday night. However, when compared to their competitors in Castle Red, most contestants in Castle Blue seemed below par in previous shows. Although eliminated on the night, Jade had a lot more energy than her previous performances. The judges told Konfydence that her delivery was good, while Shack used the stage very well and earned some applause from the audience. "You are one of the most coolest likkle singers pon the show," judge Professor Nuts said. Called back as a wild card, Glamity returned to prove a point. In the song, she poked fun at the performance that got her eliminated from the show. "That was a performance. Yuh mek cold bump a come all over me fi pick yuh back. Raise the bar same way," Professor Nuts said. Skatta added, "This is the perfect example of a female who is determined. Yuh thing tun up tonight." As one of the bottom-two males coming into Saturday's show, Payne continued to show why he was chosen ahead of Jah B. He also sang about his low votes and used the opportunity to do a bit of campaigning. "The man step up and redeem himself wid a song weh mek sense," Skatta said, while Follow The Arrow promoter, Dexton Ennis, said he was creative. Makarie, was chosen ahead of Jade earlier in the night, and displayed a lot of confidence. While Jonnah delivered well with props, costume and theatrics. "Jonnah, the saving grace yet again. It is resonating with the audience. You are a beacon of light in this castle," Miss Kitty said, while commending him on his melody, lyrics, stamina and theatrics. Real Steele got a lukewarm reception, but Halonie was well received. "Yuh start shaky. You go subtle with the guitar but yuh go dancehall with the lyrics," Skatta said. Sasique's concept was liked by the judges, but Professor Nuts was also pleased with her attire. The producer's pick, Mad Attitude, also did well for their first time on the show. "Very well done. You are performing as if you are accustomed to the stage. You work together well as a team. You have earned your spot back here," Miss Kitty said. There was also a short performance from Deablo and Ennis chose Glamity and Jonnah to perform at Follow The Arrow on Saturday, March 2.
