Woman charged for taking drugs to son |

|
A woman was arrested and charged for breaches of the Corrections Act and possession of ganja after attempting to smuggle a quantity of ganja to her imprisoned son at the Gun Court Remand Centre, Kingston, on Sunday. She is 34-year-old Grace Miller of Port Henderson Road, Spanish Town, St Catherine. Information received is that during visiting hours, Miller was handing over a plastic bag when she was accosted, searched and the ganja found. She was subsequently arrested and charged. She is to appear in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court tomorrow. |
