A member of the Portmore Municipal Council (PMC) has expressed concerns about the failure of buses to complete the Naggo Head to Spanish Town route. The observation was made by Finley Douglas, councillor for the Waterford Division, during a rescheduled monthly PMC general meeting recently. "We were pleased when the (police) traffic department forced the operators to complete their route. We now see them stopping at Bayside, forcing passengers off. What is the police doing about it?" Douglas inquired. Chairman of the PMC, Mayor George Lee, also expressed concerns about the lewd music and sexual behaviour of students on some of the buses. Meanwhile, Deputy Superinten-dent of Police Gervis Wilson, who was present at the meeting, promised the councillors that he will try to rectify the concerns. "We will be doing our best to have the drivers comply with the term of their road licences. In fact, I was under the impression that the police were making sure it happen," DSP Wilson said.
