An Ananda Alert has been activated for 14-year-old Shannon Rutherford of Silver Stone, Portmore, St Catherine, who has been missing since Thursday, February 28, 2013.

She is of brown complexion, slim build and about 137 centimetres (4 feet 6 inches) tall.

Reports from the Portmore police are that Shannon was last seen about 10:15 a.m. at home dressed in a black tights, a burgundy pullover top and a pair of black sneakers.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Shannon Rutherford is being asked to contact the Portmore police at 949-8422, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
