Four arrested in guns and ammo seizure |

![]() The police say they have arrested several persons in connection with the seizure of two firearms and several rounds of ammunition in the St Andrew South Division. It is reported that two stolen motor vehicles were also recovered during the police operation. Reports from the Hunts Bay police are that the operation began about 5:45 a.m., on Spanish Town Road, Kingston 11, where lawmen arrested four men, one of whom was wanted by the police. A home-made shotgun and a 12-guage cartridge were also seized on Spanish Town Road. In the Seaview Gardens community, which is also in Kingston 11, two men were taken into custody on suspicion of illegal possession of firearm and ammunition following the seizure of a Taurus .357 Revolver and six .357 rounds. Two motor vehicles, a Nissan Sunny and a Toyota Corolla were also recovered. It is suspected that the vehicles may have been used to commit robberies in the area. Investigations are ongoing. |
