LIME's Facebook 'tun up' Champs heat

The excitement around this year's ISSA Boys and Girls' Championships is high, and the anticipation continues to grow as the weekend of final games approaches.

As track and field fans team up in camaraderie, donning their school colours, waving flags and tooting vuvuzelas, telecoms giant LIME has a treat in store for them. Through a Champs campaign to capture the best highlights, including the most eye-catching outfits, fans and nail- biting moments, LIME plans to immediately upload photos to its Facebook page.

Champs is a stage upon which many lifetime memories are created especially for the spectators in the stands at the National Stadium enjoying the company of good friends and friendly rivalry among other school supporters. These memories should be cherished, and LIME will be ensuring that spectators value every moment.

The LIME camera crew will be on the prowl with life-size frames and cut-outs to take photos of outstanding school supporters in the stands. The camera crew will be looking out for bold fashion statements, the hottest cliques and creative items in the crowd to post on their Facebook page live from the venue, so all fans of the LIME page can experience the Champs excitement.

"A picture is worth a thousand words, and we are looking forward to posting some of these amazing moments and seeing the comments of our Facebook fans," said Stephen Miller, sponsorship manager,LIME.

"If you are not a fan, all you have to do is like the LIME page and you too will be able to view the valuable moments of Champs 2013 that our camera crew will be capturing," he added.

The telecommunications company also has an exciting game called the LIME Championships Race where players can win great weekly prizes or the grand prize of a trip for two to the Carifta games in The Bahamas, on the LIME Jamaica Facebook page.

"The LIME Championships race has been receiving great support and feedback. We encourage others to like our page and also open themselves up to a chance to win," Miller ended.
