She has been off the scene for a while, but Stacious is adamant that music is still her number-one priority.

'The Gangstress' recently teamed up with fellow artiste-producer Leftside for a sexy new single titled Do It Proper.

"He and I have always been friends, so we decided to just work together. He saw the potential in me and said that I needed to be a bigger artiste than I actually am, so that's how this project came about," Stacious told The Star.

Known for her hardcore lyrics, Do it Proper is a more toned-down, sexy vibe than what her fans may be used to. "I'm still the gangstress. Dat nah go change. I've just softened up a bit, maybe because I'm in love," she said with a smile.

The song has already been getting great feedback from fans, and Stacious believes that this could be another number-one hit to propel her career to even greater heights.

Stacious also confirmed to The Star that she had already been receiving bookings for shows overseas for the summer.

"I realise that the local-show scene has slowed down, so artistes now have to be pushing harder for foreign bookings. I'm just keeping focused and ensuring that I put out good music that my fans can enjoy," she added.

With her new weight loss a hot topic among industry insider as well as fans, she has already capitalised on the feedback she has been receiving by starting her own diet club.

"I recently started Scrumptious Diet Club where I provide meal deliveries for those who are members. We also have boot camp as part of the weight-loss routine. I've been going back to school to study anatomy, physio-logy, and nutrition. Persons can get more info on our Facebook page."
