Accused charged with sexual touching |

Rasbert Turner, Star Writer A man who pushed his hand under a woman's dress while having a drink at a bar was given six months' hard labour when he appeared in the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday. He is Ricardo Brown, 40, unemployed of Wellington Street, Spanish Town, St Catherine. When Brown appeared before Resident Magistrate (RM) Marcia Dunbar-Green in the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday, a social inquiry report was read out to the accused. previous conviction The RM told the accused who admitted to three previous convictions that he had a 'bad' record. He was subsequently given a custodial sentence for his action. It was revealed that the complainant was seated on a stool in Spanish Town. Brown reportedly fondled the woman without her permission. The matter was then reported to the Spanish Town Police Station. An investigation was launched and the accused held and charged with sexual touching. |
