Woman shows breasts to prevent arrest - Tries to allow man to escape cops

A woman may have thought that showing her breasts to policemen arresting a family member might have distracted them, but it didn't. He was still detained.

In fact, Kerry-Ann Johnson from Kingston 16 was herself arrested for going semi-nude in front of the cops.

Johnson who was charged with indecent exposure and obstructing police was sentenced in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court last Thursday.

Senior Resident Magistrate Lorna Shelly-Williams sentenced her to 100 hours of community service for indecent exposure, but the obstructing police charge was dropped.

Johnson, the court heard, was accused of showing her breast in an attempt to prevent the cops from arresting her cousin during an operation recently.

Allegations are that on April 11, about 11:15 a.m., the police were on a special operation with the Jamaica Public Service, on Grace Street in Kingston, when the police held on to the cousin of the accused.

It is alleged that during the operation, Johnson made several attempts to prevent the arrest of her cousin by pulling him away from the lawmen.

Further allegations are that despite being warned against interfering with the operation, Johnson who was not wearing a brassiere pulled her blouse and exposed her breast to the cops.

The court heard that the accused was subsequently charged and taken to the Elletson Road Police Station.
