Tommy Lee Sparta ready for Sting ... discharged from hospital

Just weeks after a near fatal car accident which saw Tommy Lee Sparta being hospitalised, the artiste says he is now looking forward to Sting.

Tommy Lee Sparta was recently released from hospital and THE WEEKEND STAR caught up with the artiste immediately after being discharged.

"I'll be up and running, if a even inna wheelchair, me a come cram up de place wicked, yuh seeeit," he said about 'The greatest one night show on Earth.'

With the exception of Sting, the artiste has cancelled all his upcoming shows until February 2014, while he recuperates.

Speaking about the accident, Tommy Lee said he was grateful to be alive.

"Thank yuh God say me an me girl alive. A God tek me outta de car," he said.

With the accident behind him, Tommy Lee Sparta is still uncertain whether he wants to drive again any time soon. A visibly upset Tommy Lee Sparta said one particular man came on the scene and began to video tape him, instead of offering help.

He, however, thanked his fans for their support, some of whom visited the hospital bearing gifts.

But what of persons who believe that his accident is God's way of showing him that the dark path he is on is wrong?

Tommy Lee Sparta is adamant that that has nothing to do with it.

"Everybody play a character in dancehall, and I choose Uncle Demon. Bounty a nuh killa, Ninja ah nuh real ninja, Ele ah nuh elephant," he said.

In the meantime, Tommy Lee Sparta's VEVO page premiered earlier this week (youtube.com/tommyleespartavevo. His October released single Spartan Soldier, produced by his own Guzu Musiq label, is in heavy international rotation with over 200,000 views on YouTube.

His recent Spanish version single titled Defend, which was released in November, has since racked up over 50,000 YouTube views.

His previous YouTube page had approximately 9.8 million hits.
