Ten takes Tastee grand finals stage

Ten hopefuls will parade their talents before the judges when they take the stage at Thursday's Tastee Talent Trail grand finals.

Judges Michael 'Ibo' Cooper, Queen Ifrica and Kerry-Ann Lawrence will get two looks at each performer as the nine singers and one dance group make two appearances, this in an effort to gain the nod from the judges, which will not only guarantee $1 million to the winner but an opening of the door to his or her entertainment career.

The second-place winner in the Tastee, Pepsi, T-Shirt Express, Sparkles and Kosmo Tours-sponsored event will pocket $500,000, while the third-place winner will earn $150,000.

Those set to take their chances on Thursday are singers Kerrian Miller, Johnell Matthew's, Marshalee Guthrie, Dane Williams, Kevrol Diah, Jermaine Bryan, Dean McGowan, Elton Earlington and Ricardo Barrett, along with the six-member dance group Black Dice.

Guest performers for the grand finals, which is free to the public, are Jamaica's Michael Jackson, the Tastee 2012 top three Anthony Clarke, Ozana Lindo, Renaldo Meikle and upcoming singer Simple Rattigan.

Backing band will be the Unique Vision, showtime 7 p.m., and MC will be Elva.
