Kerry Ann McBean cops Guinness top prize

In the cool hills of Belfield, St Mary, lives an industrious shopkeeper Kerry-Ann McBean, who has long been a Guinness drinker. Imagine her surprise recently when a team from Guinness delivered to her a stainless steel fridge full of her favourite brew.

McBean heard about the Guinness High Rollerz Christmas promotion through The STAR newspaper and figured it would be easy for her to win being an avid Guinness drinker.

"I began collecting the bottle caps and dropped my entries at Hi-Lo in Port Maria," McBean explained.

"I was by my grocery shop listening to Irie FM when an announcement was made of the three winners. Mine was the third name they called. I immediately started to scream and run up and down in the district," she said.

"I feel so great about Guinness and the competition. Blessed with this lovely fridge, don't even have words to explain," she added.

The Guinness High Rollerz competition kicked off in October and has been generating significant interest in the public domain. World-leading motorcycle brand Yamaha has taken centre stage in a Guinness High Rollerz Christmas promotion, as eight lucky winners will each ride away FZ6R 600 cc and SZ16 150 cc motorbikes, all fully insured for one year.

"Of the eight motorcycles that are being given away in the Guinness promotion, four are the FZ6R model for first-prize winners while four are SZ16 motorbikes to be given as third prizes," Racquel Nevins Guinness, brand manager, explained.

"Kerry Ann is one of the first winners of our second prize of a fridge full of Guinness stout. We are happy to bring her some joy this Christmas season with our gift," Nevins ended.
