Police seek assistance identifying body

Lawmen from the St Ann Bay Police Station are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the body of a man believed to be in the 50s, that was found in Davis Town, St Ann, on Saturday morning.

It is of Indian descent.

Reports are that about 10:15 a.m., residents stumbled upon the body and summoned the police. On their arrival, it was seen clad in a beige T-shirt and black pants. The body also had multiple chop wounds.

The scene was processed and the body removed to the morgue.

The police are appealing to anyone with information that can assist in identifying the body to contact the St Ann's Bay police at 972-2211, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
