Teenage boy, infant shot in incident
The police have confirmed that a teenage boy and an infant were shot during an incident along Pink Lane, Kingston 12, yesterday.

However, the cops say contrary to other reports in the media, the injuries sustained by the two persons were not as a result of a confrontation between the police and gunmen.

The incident occurred around 11a.m., when the two were in the company of their mother.

It is reported that explosions were heard and the two injured persons were found suffering with gunshot wounds.

They were taken to the hospital where the infant, who was shot in the foot, is in stable condition and the teenager, a 16-year-old boy who was shot in the chest, is in serious condition.

Meanwhile, the police say they will be out in their numbers to provide security for shoppers in the busy Christmas holidays.
