Five persons shot and killed in MoBay

Gunmen shot and killed five persons in two separate incidents in Montego Bay yesterday morning in what the police have described as gang-related murders.

A sixth person was injured.

Information reaching THE STAR is that gunmen shot and killed five persons, including a woman after invading their homes.

The first incident occurred in an area of downtown Montego Bay called ' North Gully', while the other incident took place in Norwood Gardens.

Police reports are that in the Norwood shooting, armed men invaded a house at 3:30 a.m. and opened fire on three siblings who all died.

Dead are 20 year-old Natasha Palmer, 29-year-old Nicollette Palmer and 27-year-old Shayne Angle.

In the other shooting in North Gully, three persons were ambushed and shot by gunmen inside a house. Two died on the spot and the third, a female, was hospitalised.

Dead are 38-year-old Keith Graham and 19-year-old Romario Haughton.

The Montego Bay police said they are following strong leads and that the investigation is ongoing.
