no eyewitnesses

When the matter came up before JusticeHorace Marsh, the court was told there were no eyewitnesses.

The court was told the sole witness in the matter had died.

Defence Attorney Courtney Maxwell argued successfully that the witness' statement could not be used as he was not an eyewitness.

The Crown then agreed that she did not have a case to answer.

Allegations are that on October 5, 2008 ,the accused went to visit a male friend at Oakdale in St Catherine.

There was a confrontation between Brown and the accused during which time a knife was brought into play and Brown was stabbed.
