Reggae songstress Prissy G is very happy about the response to her recently released cover of the popular Christmas carol O Holy Night.

"I've long been a big fan of Celine Dion's version of O Holy Night. A few weeks ago, I performed it on a TV show and then the idea hit me to record it. So two days later, I recorded it and released it for the Christmas season. The response so far has been very good. It's been getting a lot of support on radio from DJs like Ron Muschette, Rodrick Howell, Kenneth Reid, DJ Amber and GT Taylor," said the artiste.

The talented beauty, who hails from the parish of Hanover, says she has loved Christmas carols since she was a little girl.

"I love Christmas carols a lot. I have always loved to sing them from I was small. You know, to me singing Christmas carols is a big part of celebrating Christmas. It's a lot of fun. I am very happy that I was able to cover one of my favourites for my fans," she said.

Prissy G also expressed her excitement over the music video for O Holy Night.

"We are all so excited bout the video for the song. We filmed and edited it last week. It's a very nice video. The SSMC Media Production team did a great job as usual and the feedback from the fans has been great."

Prissy G is also enjoying attention with her single titled, What's Life.

"This song has really helped to push my name out there. I realised it has given me a big boost musically. The video went on a number of charts all over the place and it also got a lot of hits on YouTube," said Prissy G.
