Funfest all set for Sunday

On the heels of a very successful staging in June this year and supported by well over 4,000 patrons, plans are now in high gear for another exciting Funfest at Hope Gardens this Sunday.

Fittingly dubbed, 'This Holiday's Biggest Family Festival' the event promises more rides, more entertainment and more activities for the entire family.

Tahnida Nunes, Digicel's sponsorship manager, noted that "Digicel is once again happy to be on board for the third staging of Funfest. As a brand we believe that community spirit and family is extremely important and as such, this event gives us the opportunity to celebrate the festive season with our customers and their families."

Tshani Jaja, director of FamFun Entertainment - organisers of Funfest, said that family is their passion and that they, "love to see families having fun and spending quality time together. The event is uniquely designed to cater to all members of the family from toddlers to grandparents, as you're never too young or too old to have fun".

Families can expect to be entertained with activities ranging from Tang Xtreme sports zone, a host of rides courtesy of Oreo, a water park, Cubbies nanny lounge equipped with certified nannies for babies and toddlers, wellness village with health testing, spa and wellness vendors, Cadbury adult lounge, waterpark, Digicel Santa village, food village, and live concert featuring Johnkonoos, magicians, Digicel's Brand Ambassador Jermaine Edwards and 10-year-old sensation Wayne J, plus so much more.

The event kicks off at 10 a.m., and goes until 7 p.m.

Admission will remain at $500 for adults, $300 for children over five years old.

Other sponsors of this unique family experience include TVJ, ZIP 103 FM and Love 101 FM.
